siblings and baby tacos..

We have a thing in our house called "baby tacos." A baby taco is what happens when the kids get out of the bath. We wrap them up tight, with their arms glued to their sides, and then wrap the towel around them as tight as tight can be. They usually get carried to the couch where a "tickelfest" takes place. We started this with WIll way back when, when he never wanted to get out of the bath. he still loves baby tacos, although he's getting much to big for the taco. Addison quickly picked up on baby tacos and delights in them just as much. Which leads me to siblings... i think that it is so cool to have siblings-people who know more about you than most other people. Will and Addison adore each other. the feeling is mutual both ways. Will is the constant protector of Addi, watching her moves and making sure she doesn't fall, or go to far off the sidewalk or whatever. He watches over her like a hawk. In return she provides laughs and giggles and fun times. Will's side of the sibling coin is to constantly copy Addison's every move. She runs, he runs. she jumps, he jumps, she falls (which she does a lot), he falls. I think that part of the draw of copying addison is that everyone loves her and laughs at her and thinks she's cute She's at the perfect age for cuteness-still holding on to that cute baby fat but walking and toddling around, falling often. She's just cute. Will is just missing some of that attention. Whatever the case, i still think siblings are great. I'm glad we had our kids close together, hopefully they'll be friends for live with some pretty cool memories.
