Christmas 2008 - MyPublisher Book
So...I used to do a lot of scrapbooking and then I had kids. What did I scrapbook about before kids..I have no idea? Now...I do photobooks. They are easy, can be done on my computer (which love), I can add text or pieces from the journals that we keep for the kids, they get shipped to my house bound and pretty with hardcovers and we can read them like actual books. And if something happens to them (if our house burns down in a fire or something awful...) then they are nicely kept on some company's server so that I can reprint them again soon. Love that! Did I say that they are affordable too? I usually use shutterfly.com - like them. I've also used snapfish.com (Oprah gave a free book away. I love Oprah which means I have to love the site) - liked this site too. I just discovered MyPublisher.com which is also nice. If you are a Costco member you even get 20% off your final price, which for me was basically the shipping. Not bad.
Here's the link to our latest book. Christmas 2008 was full of fun, snow, surprises and happy memories around our house!

Such a FUN Concert
On Friday Night, these 3 lovely ladies, drove a few short hours....

and places like this:

We laughed a lot. Danced even more. Drank some great wine. Got to go up front row, center stage....

WE even started this dance party right behind us here in the picture.
And at the end of the night, when it was all over, we slid down a very large hill to the tour buses and knocked like crazy (well, lyndsey did anyways) to try and say hello in person. It didn't work, but at least we can say we tried.

A tale of T-ball

What a cutie. So BIG!

First days of practice.
T-ball seems like a rite of passage for young people. "Yes, you must stand out on the grass, pay attention, watch for the ball, no don't chase the butterfly, stand up, stand UP!, no, it's not over yet, it actually just began!" Just a few of the comments I can remember off the top of my head and really sus up t-ball for Will. We love baseball, baseball family (go CUBS!), through and through down to co-ed softball games on SUndays, playing catch in the back yard, hitting off the tee. But there is something abotu five years olds playing the sport that didn't quite do it for me. While Will was adorable in his little outfit, t-ball and the attention span of a five year old boy, don't go together too well. Nonetheless, i'm sure we'll be back next year for another round of silliness in the field and maybe at 6, Will won't have to take rests in left field during the game!
Why go around when you can go OVER mom?!

First game. Lined up in order on the bench. There are no outs in T-ball, every player gets a chance to bay each inning and run the bases.

You'll notice the hats and the lack of ability to see anything!
Snack time was a hit. Even more important, what WE were bringing for snack!
Will taking a few swings.
And accepting his certificate from his coach at the end of the year. Yeah-I'm pretty sure we'll be back next year!
