We had a busy Easter weekend this year-that's right, a weekend! First an egg hunt at the Oregon Golf Club on a beautiful morning. The age group was for 0-3 year olds. I wasn't sure how Addison would do with all of the big kids, but sure enough she held her own. She can move quickly when there is food involved (that's actually a whole other post)! Since Will's birthday was that afternoon, he felt he qualified for the lower age bracket for one last year. He too was eager to snatch up candy and eggs. His mind was more set on the number of eggs he collected versus the chocolate inside. He's very much into winning things. After the egg hunt, we had a lovely brunch and spent some time in daddy's office exploring.

On Sunday morning the easter bunny arrived at our house very late, so late in fact that the kids were already up. So late in fact, that I had to run out to the store for "coffee" and whatever discounted easter items the store had at 7:00am. We just had so much going on that Easter kind of slipped my mind. Nonetheless, the easter bunny made it to our house with a few little treats. It was really wet that morning and Addison was not happy about being outside you can tell by this picture:

That same afternoon we headed to nana and papa's house for a big lunch and another easter egg hunt for the kids. We also had an adult easter egg hunt which is a sight to be seen. Imaging 6 of us between 24-33 years old listening intently as dad reads the rules for this years game. We had to start with dart throwing and then a mad dash for your color of eggs (6 total) which Will helped out with. Next putting together a children's puzzle and then a mad dash tot he cookie jar. Rob was the declared winner of the cash prize.
