Will loves Justin Bieber more than ever. He told me today at bedtime that he has been talking about Never say Never with a friend at school. They have decided that they want to see the real Never say Never. Like on stage.
Firemen are the nicest, most patient people. Why is that? We took the Boy Scout group to the fire station last night for a tour and while they freaked Will out, they were so nice. It's like the pump kindness into them. Even though they get woken up in the middle of the night to LOUD alarms.
We now have a safety plan about how to get out of the house in the event of a fire. We also have a meeting place and WIll knows how to kick his window out. These are things you don't want to think about but then the super nice firemen ask questions like 'Will, what's your exit plan for your house?' to which Will stares back with no response. Then he turns around with tears in his eyes because we are all for sure going to burn this evening in a fire because we have no plan. not cool.
Addison wears an all yellow outfit once a week. It consists of the brightest yellow pants, a yellow sweater with white polka dots, and a white t-shirt. This morning she asked me if she looked awesome. and I thought what a perfect word to describe total YELLOWNESS!!! awesome.
Best news ever. The NW Children's Theatre is doing Junie B JOnes next year. I know not everyone loves Junie like we do and I get it. She's sassy and talks back a little and she has an attitude. But Junie B. ushered in the world of reading for Will and got him absolutely hooked on chapter books. He reads at least an hour a day and can't go to sleep without quiet reading. He gets giddy when we go to the library and get to pick up the next books in a series. I love it. So, I welcome Junie B. Jones and can't wait for the play!
Addison is reading. Books, signs, letters, notes I write, google. Whatever. This girl is reading like a pro. AMazing how they just catch on one day and away they go. She works so hard to sound out the words and then stares at rob or i if she can't figure them out waiting for us to tell her.
Rob is the hardest working dad around. Thank goodness for Rob.
