At two this little gal is such a happy spot in our life. Just looking at that picture above, taken almost two months ago, I can already see that she's grown up. We celebrated simply this year. With family and close friends. Not a lot of gifts, and just a simple cake. Kenedi is most happy to have our little family around. She gets so sad when any of us leave, especially me.
Mt cake attempt failed miserably, but I've come to realize that all people really want to do is eat the cake! And her cake had a 7 candle on it. We bought it for Addi, forgot to use it, and were out of candles for Kenedi. So 7 it was!
This is one of my favorite pictures of the day! Kenedi as turned Will and Addi into great big siblings. They are so kind, gentle, and caring for her.
At TWO kenedi was still in her crib (she's moved out since), loves to sing songs, read books to her self and watch Barney. She still takes a bottle (of almond milk) and sucks on her binkie. Someday we'll give those up but I'm not sure it will be anytime soon. She LOVEs to try to keep up with the big kids and gets the biggest kick out of doing what they do. She says adorable things like 'I wuv you' and 'shif' instead of fish. She loves playing on the slide and climbing up and down the ladder by herself. She is the perfect ending to our family.
She LOVED learning Happy Bithday to you this year. And with Addi's birthday so close to hers, we had lots of practice. We had the perfect style where everyone sang the main words to the song and kenedi added the 'cha-cha-cha' part in between phrases. She loved it.
