say cheese!!!!

addison is quite the character. first the girl is cute. so dang cute. i think there is something about baby cheeks that just makes you melt. right now she is sporty a scratch on her nose which is a direct result of my fingernails be unruly! i reached over to take her out of the car sear a few days ago and scratched off the tip of her nose no worries on her part though, she just said "Uh-Oh!" she also has the oddest teeth of any child i am yet to meet. when her teeth first started growing in about a year ago she got the bottom two, then the top two, and then the side teeth slowly followed. in about october, after many sleepless nights on the part of all of us, the back molars started popping in. this has left big gaps where the middle teeth should go. it is a sign of expensive orthodonist bills to come.

but i digress...she is quite the character, and I gues you have to be to keep up in this household. lately, she has been in to having her picture taken. this started about a month ago, at the beginning of the holiday season when we started snapping lots of pictures. we usually say "CHEESE" before we actually snap the picture. One day i was playing pretend with her and pretended to take a picture of her. i said "cheese" and she got this crooked smile up on her face. as soon as i "snapped" the picture, the smile was gone and she was right back to doing whatever it was she was doing. in the weeks since, we have been laughing at how she goes from totally serious and focused, to this crazy smile in a matter of seconds anytime she hears the word "CHEESE." It is a hoot! tonight aunt lyndsey was over and snapped these great pictures to capture the essence of the "cheese." enjoy!
