Our latest addition: Kenedi Wrigley!

So EXCITED to welcome this sweet little gal to our family!
Not only is she cute as a button...but she has made out little family complete.  Will and Addi are just taken with her.  Since the moment they saw her they couldn't get enough of her, visiting us twice a day in the hospital just to make sure they soaked her all in.  They were also very interested in her changing umbilical cord which went from white to black over the course of our hospital stay.

Kenedi was born September 1st, right on her due date, at 4:16am.  Her birth was one that I will never repeat!!!  She made it very clear that she completes this family...  Rob and the kids had voted on her name a few weeks ago at the dinner table.  We literally had 4 different baby name books back at the beginning of August because we were nameless.  Rob and I compiled out lists of favorites, had the kids throw their favorites in too, and then we voted.  The initial vote got us to a list of 26 names.  Then the guinea pigs arrived and out list went down to 24.  hmmmmm.....Kenedi was a late add last weekend and the kids loved it.  I loved it too and so did Rob.  This was a break thru!  Wrigley is Rob's hope that if we name our girl's after Cubs monuments, then they just may win a penant someday.  The actual spelling of her name was voted on in the hospital.  How's that for a naming story!?

12 Sweet little things about Kenedi
  1. She is a Sucker!  She sucked her hand in womb so hard that she came out with a blister on her fist and her arm.  I think she will be our first pacifier baby.
  2. You can tell by looking at her exactly how she spent most of time in womb.  She likes to be on her right side, hands at her mouth, and her frog legs kicking away.  When I see her all curled up I can feel those little limbs in me.
  3. She popped out with a vengeance.  No pain killers and barely time for an IV.
  4.  She looks a little like Addi and a little like Will but has a bigger cone head than either of them.  Seems like she was down and ready to come out long before the 1st and just sat it out for her due date.
  5. Rob keeps calling her Addison, who didn't actually get called by any other name than 'baby sister' until she was 18 months.
  6. She loves to lay skin to skin on her belly.
  7. The vibrating chair is  her best friend.  And really....who wouldn't love that thing?
  8. She has fury ears but not a lot of hair on her head.
  9. Her eyes are deep, deep blue although they aren't open much.
  10. She makes sweet little cooing sounds even now and only seems to try cry when we change poopy diapers.
  11. She spits up!  We have never had to carry burp rags with Will or Addi so a spitter is something very new to me.  I now understand the need to carry multiple changes of clothes with you at all times.
  12. She nurses like a champ....her sucking reflex is top notch!
Her stats: 8lbs, 8oz and 21 inches long.

And now, with this little lady here, our family feels just right as a party of FIVE.
