Baseball

Baseball this year is for reals.  We're talking practices twice a week, cups to protect the boy parts, 2 games, coach pitch, outs and all.  and you know what...It's exhausting!  Good lord there's a lot of baseball in our house.  In fact, it feels like the MLB season ... NEVER ENDING!  What sports spans a million months and a thousand games?  Only baseball.  America's favorite pastime-slow and steady.

Will really likes baseball.  He has fun and enjoys playing.  We got him to catch a few innings and he looks so cute in the gear and ready to go.  Last night after his game on the drive home (with a stop at DQ) I was commenting on how well he did at second base.  He says to me

'I know!  Matthew and I had such a good team going!  It's called teamwork mom.  I learned it in school.'  And then he thinks a bit and say 'and kind of on Wonder Pets.'  

You know the song ... 'what's going to work...teamwork!'  

And that my friends is where lessons are learned.  From Wonder Pets.  and many, many, many games on the wet baseball field!
